Training
Researchers conducting projects sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) must complete training in the responsible conduct of human subjects research. For all other projects, training is voluntary unless stipulated by the IRB.
Online training is available through CITI. Faculty, staff and students may access training through the institutional account (University of Arkansas – Fayetteville) using their UARK IDs and passwords.
Additional training is available through the NIH Office of Extramural Research.
IRB Meetings
Committee meetings are conducted both on location at 107 MLKG and via Zoom simultaneously and can be attended either way.
Here is a complete list of Research Integrity and Compliance events.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone having concerns about the safety, health or welfare of participants in human subjects research should contact the Director of Research Integrity and Compliance, the IRB Coordinator, or any member of the IRB. Confidentiality requests will be honored to the extent permitted by state and federal law, and by university policy.
